The Women's Football Network is delighted to announce that Shannon McGregor, a midfielder Celtic player, has joined our growing network of talented women footballers.
Who Is Shannon?
A Scotland international born in Aberdeen in 1999, Shannon is a midfielder for Celtic. She started out at her hometown club before making well over 100 appearances and winning three trophies with Hibernian, showing real resilience by fighting back from two serious ACL injuries. She joined Celtic in 2024, lifted the Scottish Women's Cup, and earned her first senior Scotland cap the same year, extending her contract with the Hoops into 2027.
Joining The Network
Shannon becomes the latest addition to a roster of more than 50 athletes spanning multiple leagues, positions and countries. Through The Women's Football Network she gains access to brand partners, commercial opportunities and a support system built specifically for women footballers looking to grow their profile on and off the pitch.
