The Women's Football Network is delighted to announce that Melis Mehmet, a midfielder Real Bedford L.F.C. player, has joined our growing network of talented women footballers.
Who Is Melis?
A creative central midfielder, Melis signed for Real Bedford Women from QPR. She came through Arsenal's academy as a fullback and gained senior experience on loan at London City Lionesses before a spell at Watford. After battling back from a 21-month ACL recovery, she announced her return in style, scoring four goals in QPR's 6-1 win over Charlton. Her versatility, vision and work rate make her a real asset in the middle of the park.
Joining The Network
Melis becomes the latest addition to a roster of more than 50 athletes spanning multiple leagues, positions and countries. Through The Women's Football Network she gains access to brand partners, commercial opportunities and a support system built specifically for women footballers looking to grow their profile on and off the pitch.
