The Women's Football Network is delighted to announce that Lana Clelland, a forward U.S. Sassuolo Calcio player, has joined our growing network of talented women footballers.
Who Is Lana?
Born in Perth in 1993, Lana is a Scotland international forward and the highest-scoring foreign player in the history of Italy's Serie A Femminile, with 99 league goals. After starting at Rangers and Spartans, she moved to Italy in 2014, top-scoring in Serie A with Tavagnacco and winning the Supercoppa with Fiorentina before joining Sassuolo in 2021. She has 40 caps for Scotland and featured at Euro 2017 and the 2019 World Cup.

Lana becomes the latest addition to a roster of more than 50 athletes spanning multiple leagues, positions and countries.
