The Women's Football Network is delighted to announce that Kelis Barton, a forward Rugby Borough WFC player, has joined our growing network of talented women footballers.
Who Is Kelis?
Born in Kirkland, Washington, Kelis holds dual USA-England citizenship and arrives at Rugby Borough as a Division Champion with Minnesota Aurora. Football runs in the family: her grandad Frank Barton played professionally in England and for the Seattle Sounders, and Kelis has worn #51 in his honour since she was six. Away from the pitch she holds a degree in journalism and multimedia production.
Joining The Network
Kelis becomes the latest addition to a roster of more than 50 athletes spanning multiple leagues, positions and countries. Through The Women's Football Network she gains access to brand partners, commercial opportunities and a support system built specifically for women footballers looking to grow their profile on and off the pitch.
