The Women's Football Network is delighted to announce that Charlotte Newsham, a defender Charlton Athletic player, has joined our growing network of talented women footballers.
Who Is Charlotte?
Born in 2000, Charlotte is a Scottish left-back for WSL side Charlton Athletic and the Scotland national team. She came through the Manchester City and Manchester United setups before spells at Huddersfield, Blackburn and Sheffield United, where she was voted Player of the Year. Now a core Charlton player, she was named the club's PFA Community Champion for her local work and received her first senior Scotland call-up in 2025.
Joining The Network
Charlotte becomes the latest addition to a roster of more than 50 athletes spanning multiple leagues, positions and countries. Through The Women's Football Network she gains access to brand partners, commercial opportunities and a support system built specifically for women footballers looking to grow their profile on and off the pitch.
